Short description: Between Christmas and New Year we supported the local initiative Grupa Granica with donations in kind and a small support team.
Project Progress:
Several weeks before the mission, CADUS was already in contact with Grupa Granica to determine the need for specific medical and communication equipment. During the Christmas holidays, the group needed not only material support but also medical professionals. A Medic and another CADUS staff member headed to the border to support the local initiative there.
Our Medic was mainly on site to be able to medically examine refugees hiding in the forest there trying to get across the border when alerted by the local network.

Three years of war in Ukraine – three years of emergency response
It is exactly three years to the day since Russia attacked Ukraine. 11 years since the occupation of Crimea. For the people of Ukraine, this means having to live their lives under the most adverse conditions, despite death and destruction. We have been supporting the people in Ukraine for three years.
