Short description: Between Christmas and New Year we supported the local initiative Grupa Granica with donations in kind and a small support team.
Project Progress:
Several weeks before the mission, CADUS was already in contact with Grupa Granica to determine the need for specific medical and communication equipment. During the Christmas holidays, the group needed not only material support but also medical professionals. A Medic and another CADUS staff member headed to the border to support the local initiative there.
Our Medic was mainly on site to be able to medically examine refugees hiding in the forest there trying to get across the border when alerted by the local network.

Northeast Syria: Public Relations done sensitively
Part of the essential public relations work of an organization that depends on donations is to report regularly on its own work. Nevertheless, we report comparatively little about our work in Northeast Syria. What are the reasons for our hesitation, which sometimes leads to smoking heads in our PR department?
Raqqa – closing words
For the last two years, our clinic in Raqqa was a little but successful project which never got the attention it deserved. It started without much noise and ended the same way.
