Psychosocial specialists wanted – Supervision & aftercare at CADUS
Operations in crisis regions are physically and emotionally demanding. As an organization that works with people in extreme situations, the psychosocial protection of our team is a key concern for us. That is why we are currently looking for qualified specialists who would like to support us on a voluntary basis in two areas: team supervision and therapeutic aftercare following missions.
1. team supervision (approx. once a month)
We are looking for supervisors to conduct supervisions for our teams at regular intervals (about once a month) – for both volunteers and full-time employees. The supervisions usually take place online in English, as many of our team members are international.
Ideally, you have experience in the supervision of NGOs, emergency services, medical personnel or similar areas.
2. therapeutic support & aftercare
After an assignment, many of our volunteers need space to reflect and professional support to process what they have experienced. We are therefore looking for therapists, trauma educatorsor similar psychosocial specialists to support individual team members after they return from their assignment – in the form of supportive discussions, stabilization or trauma education support. English is also an important working language here.
General conditions
The work is voluntary. We offer you a meaningful task in a committed, international environment – with the aim of making humanitarian work more sustainable and safer.
