Infield training and capacity building
At CADUS, we see training as an essential part of our work – not only to impart knowledge, but also to strengthen capacities on the ground. Our infield training courses are practice-oriented and tailored to the real challenges in crisis regions. They offer participants the opportunity to learn and apply skills and abilities directly on site.
We promote capacity building through tailor-made programmes that strengthen local communities, aid workers and organizations in the long term and thus enable sustainable and self-determined aid. Our aim is to empower people and enable them to act effectively even under extreme conditions.

Ukraine

At CADUS, we see it as our responsibility to impart essential skills and abilities, especially in crisis and conflict regions such as Ukraine. In crisis and war regions, well-trained aid workers are crucial to saving the lives of those affected and ensuring medical and technical care.
Our training courses offer practical and adaptable solutions that are tailored to the specific conditions on the ground – from trauma care to transportation techniques – from repair work to water treatment. In solidarity with the people in Ukraine, we provide needs-oriented support – so that they remain capable of acting even under extreme conditions.
Whether through medical aid, technical equipment or on-site training: together we create structures that not only help in the moment, but also have a long-term effect and strengthen reconstruction in the long term.

Gaza
In many places in Gaza, medical care has almost collapsed. Hospitals are overburdened, resources are scarce and access to professional help is often no longer possible.
In this reality, it is all the more important for CADUS to support local forces through training. By teaching life-saving emergency measures, we enable local people to remain capable of acting themselves in acute emergencies, to care for others and to strengthen their community – even under extreme conditions. When in doubt, this knowledge can save lives.
