Our team arrived in Bosnia, the treatment of refugees has begun.
Meanwhile, our team is already working the second day. Temperatures are near freezing point and the first 40 patients were treated in our modified van. The team is still in the process of oriented itself and determining where we are most needed.
We can say for now, that working with the organizations that are already on site and for example distributing food and blankets, is outstanding. Many thanks for all the information and assistance to AidBrigade, MedVint and BASIS Bosnia.

Balkan Response – getting closer towards our Bosnia Response, putting Lesvos on hold
We finished our preparations for our mission in Bosnia. Disillusionment with our returned team from Lesbos at the same time.
ER Balkan: Erstes Team auf Lesbos
Neben dem geplanten Einsatz in Bosnien umfasst unsere Emergency Response Balkan noch eine weitere wichtige Aufgabe – die medizinische Versorgung von Geflüchteten auf der griechischen Insel Lesbos. Unser erstes Team ist dort bereits gestern angekommen und wird umgehend mit der Arbeit beginnen.

Noch immer harren tausende Flüchtlinge, darunter Alte, Kinder und Schwangere, auf der sogenannten Balkanroute und auf Lesbos, Griechenland aus.
