Vacant position
Psychosocial Professionals (Volunteers)
Arabic- and Ukrainian-speaking
Supervision & aftercare at CADUS
Deployments to crisis regions are physically and emotionally demanding. As an organization that works with people in extreme situations, the psychosocial well-being of our team is a top priority for us. That is why we are currently looking for qualified professionals who would like to volunteer to support us in two areas: supervision and therapeutic support during and after missions. Specifically, we are looking for Arabic- and Ukrainian-speaking individuals to support our local staff and volunteers during these missions.
1. Supervision
We are looking for supervisors who can provide supervision to our local teams as needed—for both volunteers and full-time staff. The sessions take place online in the respective local language.
Ideally, you have experience supervising NGOs, emergency responders, medical staff, or similar fields.
2. Therapeutic Support & Aftercare
Our local colleagues, as humanitarian workers and as residents of the crisis-stricken region, face a double burden that requires special support. We are therefore looking for therapists and trauma educatorsor similar psychosocial professionals who can provide online support to individual team members during their deployment and rotation periods —in the form of stress-relieving conversations, stabilization, or trauma-informed educational support.
Conditions
This is a volunteer position. We offer you a meaningful role in a dedicated, international environment – with the goal of making humanitarian work more sustainable and safer.
If you’re interested in becoming part of our psychosocial network, we look forward to hearing from you.
